KATHY MOORE SUPER POWER TRIO
BIO
Comprised of the mad scientist Moore on guitar, steady-yet-nimble bassist Alyssa Martini and thunderous drummer Faith Stankevich, all of whom are Seattle stalwarts, the Kathy Moore Super Power Trio released its debut record, I Won’t Let The End Of The World Bring Me Down, in summer 2020. The album, forceful and tight, is as much a scream into the ether as it is a piece of sonic entertainment.
On the record, Moore, who was praised by Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready for her wisdom and six-string abilities during a recent collaboration, will demonstrate the strength and pride she’s earned from playing music, all while working with two equally talented Emerald City standouts. Together, the members of the Kathy Moore Power Trio are set to raise eyebrows, expectations and standards.

PRESS
“After all, why would The End of the World bring anyone down with Ms. Kathy Moore and her pals Alyssa Martini and Faith Stankevich are rocking out?”
— Robert Fripp (King Crimson)
“Like many of the great players in the Seattle scene who do it because it is what they believe in, Moore, bassist Alyssa Martini and drummer Faith Stankevich have no fear of stepping into creative and progressive music. They bring that to the table here on this album in a nice blend of power rock, psychedelia, and quality songwriting..”

ACID TONGUE
PRESS
“There’s a wooziness to Acid Tongue’s psych oddity that quells the madness.”
— DIY MAGAZINE
“After becoming early adopters of the pandemic livestream, these psych-rock staples reemerged from quarantine this fall with this irresistible glam-rock triumph. For a record conceived during a heavy period for singer-guitarist Guy Keltner, the highly collaborative album is a helluva lot of fun. Gleaming toe-tapper “Suffering For You” — featuring the hardest working woman in Seattle music, Shaina Shepherd, who had a breakout year herself — is one of many highlights..”
— SEATTLE TIMES
“Acid Tongue might be the most fun psychedelic band of our time... This band is doo-wop on psilocybin. It’s what the Beatles would have sounded like in ’63 if they’d begun their quest for enlightenment a decade earlier.”
— TOUR WORTHY
“Arboretum feels like a walk through Seattle's University of Washington Botanic Gardens of which inspired the record's title and falling into the glorious slipstream of glam rock revivalist daydream. An ode to the metal gurus, the New York grooves, electric warriors, diamond dogs, jooks, droogs, English disco derelicts, artful dodgers, space oddities and anyone who has ever sought a new lease on this sordid thing called life.”

TRICK CANDLES
BIO
Trick Candles formed in early 2014 in Seattle by Robbie Luna (Panama Gold, The Royal Bear) and Prisilla Ray (Cute Lepers, Sweet Pups) with the intention of making music that is danceable with a nostalgic feel. They draw heavily from pop’s past, finding inspiration from current bands but calling back to the likes of The Cure, New Order, and Psychedelic Furs to name a few. They have performed at festivals such as SXSW and Fisherman’s Village prior to any album release.
PRESS
“Trick Candles bring infectious pop hooks to their zenith with “Pretend We’re Alone” —Unapologetically nostalgic with ample booty-shaking grooves, their blend of rock infused synth pop recalls 80’s New Wave greats The Cars and Modern English and will please fans of Sub Pop stalwarts Wolf Parade and Handsome Furs. Catchy, danceable, and always fun, Trick Candles bring the party to wherever they are.”
— New Noise Magazine
“We’ve all gotten super high and sexy-danced with our friends to 80’s synth pop and dreamed of having an orgy in a convertible. Pretend We’re Alone, the new EP from Trick Candles, IS the soundtrack to this exact experience.”
