BIO

A multi-instrumentalist and performing artist, Alyssa Martini hails from New York where she received an A.S. in Music and Audio Recording. Alyssa furthered her education and became Certified in Harp Music Therapy, performing for a variety of audiences from hospital patients, wedding guests and expanded her talent into rock music.

Martini has learned, performed and instructed on more than one instrument including (sometimes simultaneously) drums, guitar, sax, piano, bass, harp and ukulele, thanks to years of private music lessons from an early age. During the day Alyssa teaches children to appreciate music in Wallingford at Off The Wall School of Music. She also plays at SEATAC Airport and events for the Seattle Parks and Rec Dept.

By night you can catch her rocking local Seattle venues with award-winning bands including The Kathy Moore Super Power Trio (“I Won’t Let The End of the World Bring Me Down”), Acid Tongue (“Arboretum” on Freakout Records), Tobias The Owl (Megaforce Records), Trick Candles (“Pretend We’re Alone” EP), Blood Moon Orchestra, Bad Saint (LA Tour), Claire Michelle (Folklife Festival), Purple Mane Prince tribute band, Payge Turner from The Voice, Purr Gato, Lady Rizo and Amandala at The Triple Door, amongst others throughout her 6 year stay in the PNW. Alyssa has made radio and television appearances, helped sell out multiple shows and festivals, and even toured internationally.

Living out her love for music, Martini’s latest venture is growing many mixed-genre original compositions and DJ sets on Soundcloud and Bandcamp. She plans to officially record and release her new music this year. She looks forward to hosting her first MoJam Monday in 2022 to continue supporting the Seattle music scene which has undoubtedly helped her grow as a musician.
